CDB was along at the inaugural Hawkstone Festival of Legends on 10-11th September at the home of British Motocross the legendary Hawkstone Park in Shropshire. Even Friday’s storms couldn’t dampen enthusiasm and Saturday dawned dry and the preliminary racing got underway. Sunday however was superb weather with blue skies and warm sunshine as Twinshock, Evo, Super Evo and Modern MXers battled their way round the sandy track. There was a break midday where a slack handful of past masters – some still racing – were quizzed and interviewed in front of the concours display. Roll on 2017!
